Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it... Psalms 127:1
It seems that the more trips we go on the better they get. This trip was an awesome one, we had 14 people go (most that had never been) to minister to our brothers at Dios es mi Refugio in Tijuana, Mexico. It's amazing how we so often try to build that house on our own, how we try to plan our own steps and how we try to construct our own lives. Yet as His word says that we labor in vain when we build ourselves. Every single one of these trips would not be possible without the Lord building, planning and constructing. He is such a great and awesome God, we are indebted to Him with our lives. As you can see in the pictures we had the opportunity to truly bless the congregation by laying cement inside the sanctuary. Since the church has been meeting there, a third of the sanctuary has been dirt! I sometimes wonder if we would still be willing to praise the Lord if we did not have our air conditioners, and our plush seats. It is always a humbling experience as we travel to churches in Mexico. You will also see that we had about 30 men meet from various churches in the area. The Lord was glorified that night as it was a great time of worship, testimony and teachings. I would love to say so much more and tell you all about this trip but all that is needed to be said is that the Lord reigns on high and He is good!
