Genesis 27:7, Why do you think God allowed it to happen?

Question: In v:7 when Issac said he would bless him(esau) in "the presence of the Lord"I wondered why God didnt just stop jacob from decieving his father when he came in and gave issac the meal? Why do you think God allowed it to happen? Answer: Since God does not say, we can only speculate why God allowed it. There are far worse things that we could wonder about why God allows it to happen. Ultimately we rest in the fact that God gives us choice, and lets us make bad decisions and do terrible things, but He works His purposes in spite of us and He promises to work all things together for good to those that love Him (Romans 8:28). -PJ
