Deuteronomy 9:9 & 18, Moses on the mountain

Question: chapter 9 v. 9 & 18  How did Moses survive in those 40 days n when he says he had no food or water because of their sins  was that before or after they provoke him to anger. thank u and GOD BLESS. Answer: When Moses was on the mountain with God for 40 days (both times), he must have survived supernaturally without food and water. The first 40 days Moses was receiving the law. Then he came down to the golden calf, dealt with that, and went up again for another 40 days. The second 40 days he was interceding for Israel, as well as receiving the law. -PJ
