2 Samuel 19:5, How did David humiliate his people?

Question: king david weeps for his son Absolom. he loved him so much like any other parent when who loses a child.. but why were they telling him in v. 5 in chap. 19 he has humillated his people? Answer: David's army was outnumbered, but they bravely fought for him, risking their own lives. Winning this kind of battle would be cause for great celebration, but David's weeping made the soldiers feel bad for their victory, as if they had done something wrong. That is why Joab tells David he disgraced/humiliated his people. -PJ
