Acts 1:8, “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (NKJV)

The Holy Spirit is in you! This relationship with the Holy Spirit is true for all believers. Those who put their faith in Jesus Christ have the Spirit dwelling within them. Paul describes this as the guarantee of our salvation (2 Corinthians 1:20-22, Ephesians 1:13-14).

Upon—The Spirit Comes Upon Believers So They Testify Of Jesus

The Holy Spirit will come upon you! This relationship with the Holy Spirit is available for all believers. In fact, Paul commands us to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). The empowering of the Holy Spirit is described in the Bible in these three ways, the Spirit coming upon you, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and the filling of the Spirit.
