God is infinite and mysterious, His ways are high above our ways, yet He wants us to know Him. So God has revealed Himself to us through His Word. God refers to Himself by different names in the Old Testament, each one provides us insight into another aspect of who He is. Here are a few samples of the names of God found in the Bible.
